With five years of pro-ball under my belt, I’ve seen it many times: a teammate gets a new long sleeve performance shirt in the mail from his agent and decides to cut the sleeves to three quarter length. If I had a Got Eyewash Yo Sleeve for every time I’ve seen it butchered, I’d have enough sleeves to keep the freezing arms in Alaska warm. Most of my teammates have learned that if they want it done the right way, I’m the guy to go to. So, today I am going to share with you my secret to three quarter length cutting success.
Step 1: Lay out your EYE-Dri on a flat surface

Step 2: Fold your the shirt in half

Step 3: Align the seams at the cuffs and at the shoulders to make sure they are even. Then, adjust the shirt until both sleeves are laying smooth on the surface.

Step 4: With a ruler, measure up from the cuff of the sleeve about 8 inches

Step 5: Place a weight (or something that is five or more pounds) on the seams of the shoulder to ensure that the shirt does not move

Step 6: Firmly grab the cuff of the sleeves while focusing on keeping the sleeves flat to the table. With a sharp pair of scissors, cut parallel to the cuff of the sleeves at a smooth pace to ensure a clean cut.

Step 7: Observe the clean cut. Now you can rock your 3/4 sleeves under your uni and look good on the baseball field! If you don’t want to waste the scrap pieces, they can serve as a cleaning cloth for your shades.

There you have it, folks. My secret is revealed. With your new 3/4 sleeves, you will definitely have more Eyewash, which of course will make you play better. If don’t feel like going through the hassle of cutting the sleeves and risk of ruining your performance long sleeve T, check out our pre-cut 3/4 EYE-Dri gear!

I just butchered a nice shirt last week. I wish I had read this a week ago…
